History
History of Circle K International
Circle K is an international community service organization with over 13,250 members worldwide in 18 nations, including the Bahamas, Barbados, Canada, Jamaica, St. Lucia, Colombia, Philippines, Nigeria, Ecuador, Malaysia, Panama, Dominican Republic, Taiwan, Antigua, Australia, Suriname, Italy, and the United States. Circle K blends community service and leadership training with the opportunity to meet many other college students at service projects, conferences, and conventions.
Each club works closely with their school and local community in planning and implementing projects that best serve the needs of that particular area. Clubs within the same basic geographic area (divisions), also work together on larger projects. On the district level, clubs within the boundaries of California, Nevada, and Hawaii also work to achieve common goals and service initiatives, and come together at conferences, conventions, and large scale projects. This gives members the opportunity to work closely with and get to know many different people, not just those at their own school. Check out the Circle K International media page for more news, events, and updates!

History of Circle K International at California State University of Long Beach
CSULB Circle K has had a great tradition of excellence since it was chartered on November 6, 1958 and it's very rare you'll find a CKI club that has maintained its charter for that long. We remain the oldest organization at California State University of Long Beach. We are also the second oldest chartered club in our District of California-Nevada-Hawaii or CNH. The club that chartered first was San Diego State University on May 7, 1958. In addition the club has won countless awards based on the clubs quality of production. Our club has even generously donated the statue of Prospector Pete to the Long Beach Campus.
Leadership History
Throughout the years, the club has produced countless leaders ranging from club officers to even international officers. It's important to recognize our members who took leadership roles and made contributions for not only our club but to the entire organization. We honor them today to ensure they are not forgotten.
