Families & Mentorship
The Family System
The family system provides a closer bond to members of the club. With our high member count, whether they are new or returning, we make sure everyone gets a chance to talk to one other. It might seem intimidating for new members to join a large club, so we group them into families with similar hobbies, favorite activities, and anything else they share in common. Each family has two family heads and they plan socials.
Every year, we choose a new club theme, which changes up the family system and we induct new family heads. This year, our theme is Adventure Time and our new families will be formed at Member Induction Night. |
Our next Member Induction Night will be held on Friday, October 27th, 2017!

The Mentor-Mentee System
Within the family system, we have family members, and these members are mentors and mentees. The purpose of the Mentor-Mentee system is to be able to pair you with someone with whom you can bond with, obtain support from, and create memorable everlasting friendships! Anyone can apply to be a mentee, but in order to be a mentor, you must have been a Circle K member for at least 1 semester (at any school). The Mentor-Mentee system is totally optional, but it's definitely worth applying for because you'll bond with members even closer!
